The German Red Cattle/ Angler succeeded time and again in increasing production figures in the last years. This also happens in 2010. The production of the herdbook-cows in Schleswig-Holstein was 8.486 kg milk with 4,77 % fat and 3.64 % protein. This are 714 kg fat and protein. With it the „reds“ surpassed the Holstein herdbook cows in Schleswig-Holstein by 21 kg fat and protein in this milk recording year. The Angler heifers produced averagely 7.160 kg milk with 4,64 % fat and 3,60 % protein. The average first calving age is about 28 month. Best cow The best cow comes from the farm of Peter Espermüller, Satrup. The cow Flinke is a Valedo daugther she produced. 13.942 kg milk with 4,45 % fat and 3,56 % protein and 1.117 kg solids. Live time production The number one cow ist the 19 years old Natur-daughter Regina. She has a livetime produktion of 123.606 kg milk and 11.328 kg fat and protein. Best herd Like 2009 the cows from Hans Jürgen Felsen also 2010 the best herd with an average production of 9.822 kg milk 4,93 % fat 3,61 % protein and 839 kg fat and protein. The angler breeders produced good figures in 2010. For the year 2011 we hope we can reach new goals.
